Monterey, Virginia is 45 miles west of Staunton, Virginia on the old Staunton-Parkersburg Pike (U.S. 250), 1/2 block past the junction of U.S. 220.
From Washington, D.C. or points northeast:
Interstate 66 West to Interstate 81 South to exit 225 West, Woodrow Wilson Parkway. The Parkway will take you to U.S. 250 West. Follow U.S. 250 West to Monterey. U.S. 250 becomes Main Street in Monterey.
From Richmond or points east:
Interstate 64 West to Interstate 81 North to exit 225 West, Woodrow Wilson Parkway. The Parkway will take you to U.S. 250 West. Follow U.S. 250 West to Monterey. U.S. 250 becomes Main Street in Monterey.
From Roanoke or points south:
Interstate 81 North to Exit 225 West, Woodrow Wilson Parkway. The Parkway will take you to U.S. 250 West. Follow U.S. 250 West to Monterey. U.S. 250 becomes Main Street in Monterey.
From Clarksburg, WV and points northwest:
Interstate 79 South to exit 99 East, Highway 33 at Weston WV. Highway 33 west to Elkins, WV. Turn right on U.S. 250 East and go about 60 miles. U.S. 250 becomes Main Street in Monterey.
From Charleston, WV and points west:
Interstate 64/77 becomes Interstate 64 East at Beckley, WV. Continue to exit 4 at Covington, VA. Follow U.S. 220 North signs through Covington and continue on U.S. 220 north for about 50 miles. Turn left on U.S. 250 in Monterey. The hotel is 1/2 block on the right.

Dulles Airport (IAD) in northern Virginia is about a three hour drive. Richmond (RIC) and Roanoke (ROA) are about the same distance. Closer at 2 hours would be Charlottesville (CHO). Shenandoah Regional Airport (SHD) is the closest airport with commuter flights from Dulles. It is about a 1 1/2 hour drive.
